Abu Dhabi University Appoints New Dean for College of Business Administration

The Board of Governors and Trustees of Abu Dhabi University has recently appointed Professor Dr. Mohamed Khalifa as the new Dean for the College of Business Administration. Dean Khalifa is a world renowned scholar who joined Abu Dhabi University earlier this month and whose wealth of experience tops 20 years within the international academic community.

“My mission is to make the College of Business Administration (COBA) at Abu Dhabi University a top business school, not just locally but also internationally, and recognized for producing outstanding business professional and leaders. With excellent facilities in the new campus, carefully designed curricula and international faculty members with the best qualifications, our students will have an ideal environment for developing into global business leaders, contributing further to the prosperity of the UAE,” said Dr. Khalifa.

Dr. Khalifa received his Master’s and PhD degrees from Wharton Business School of The University of Pennsylvania and has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst, and 17 years as an academic in the USA, Canada, Sweden, China and Hong Kong. His vast academic experience and contributions have yielded him numerous prizes from the international community in recognition of his excellence. Acknowledging his innovative pedagogical methods and outstanding teaching performance, Dr. Khalifa is also a two-time recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award. Overall, he has published over 70 internationally refereed research articles and has recently received the top paper award in the International Conference in Information Systems (ICIS).
