Action PR Celebrates its 16th Anniversary

Action Public Relations, the first public relations agency in the Kingdom, recently celebrated its 16th anniversary by hosting a dinner for its employees at Trader Vic's Restaurant in the Regency Palace Hotel in Amman.

The celebration was held on Wednesday, Jan. 14 with the attendance of the company's founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors Amjad Tadros, the company's General Manager Bashir Mraish, and a number of department heads.

Action PR is the first agency in the Kingdom to offer a full range of public relations services from strategic planning, media relations, daily coverage monitoring, reputation and crisis management, to editorial services and creative copywriting.  The agency is a member of the Nicosia-headquartered Action Global Communications Group, an independent public relations agency network which operates more than 28 offices across Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

"Today, we celebrate together the passing of 16 years since the foundation of our company," said Tadros in his opening remarks during the ceremony. "We pride ourselves for this accomplishment as our company is a pioneer of professional PR services in the Kingdom, and today we are given a chance to take stock of our various accomplishments over the past years."

During the dinner celebration, Action PR's Managing Director Nabil Hijazin, Bashir Mraish, and Senior Copywriter Elza Saleh, were honored for their outstanding contributions and dedicated service to the agency.

The Trader Vic's chain, which today operates 18 restaurants in 13 countries, is known for its Polynesian style, Pacific Island decor, tropical cocktails, and exotic cuisine of an influenced fusion of French, Creole, Indian and Chinese.
