Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the era of resolving international issues through bombardment and war is over.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks while speaking in a news conference with foreign reporters, attending the 18th anniversary of departure of Imam Khomeini.
Replying to a question on the war atmosphere worldwide, Ahmadinejad said that there are definitely some individuals, who believe in resolving issues through threatening, bombarding and driving the world to war, but the era of such people and governments is over.
According to IRNA, he also noted that thinking, logic and reasonable interactions are expanding in the political space of the region and the entire world. "The powers would likely threaten another nation in the region, but they will not benefit from committing such acts," he said.
"We are of the opinion that the future and coming months and years will witness constant victories of regional nations and the resistance front."
