Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, recently visited Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) to better understand the services and programmes it offers to students with disabilities.

Received by Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, Vice President of the Supreme Council of Family Affairs in Sharjah, the Air Arabia delegation discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two companies in order to provide support to children with physical and mental disabilities.

During the tour of the City, the Air Arabia delegation visited the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, which trains its disabled students in certain trades and professions in order to boost their confidence in themselves, and also allow them to become financially self-sufficient.

"Our visit to SCHS has been both enlightening and humbling," said Housam Raydan, Corporate Communications Manager, Air Arabia. "The effort of all those working in the City has contributed greatly to the development of our local community, and this effort must be matched by us all. Air Arabia looks forward to working with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to further serve its community."
