Airbus wins top aviation business award
Airbus has been awarded “Aviation Spares & Logistics Provider of the Year” at the second Annual Aviation Business Awards, in Dubai. The awards are organised by Aviation Business magazine.
The awards recognise airlines, airport operators and aviation service providers that have helped to establish the countries of the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) as industry leaders on the global stage.
“Airbus is proud of the achievements accomplished staff at the logistics centre, and in the confidence customers are placing on our services”, said Joerg Helmerichs, Senior Director of the Airbus Material and Logistics Centre, Middle East. “Airbus is delighted that the company’s commitment to the region has been recognised through this award.” he added.
In total, sixteen awards were presented, covering various facets of aviation, from in-flight and duty-free services, to passenger handling, security, leasing and finance.
The winners were chosen for consistently delivering world-class services during the past 12 months, as well as their growth, outstanding performance levels, and reliability. According to the judges, “Airbus is an established service provider with a strong focus on customer service.”
