Al Ansari Exchange, a leading provider of worldwide remittance and foreign exchange services, has announced that it is set to stage an extensive presence at the ‘10th Annual Careers Show 2010 Exhibition’, a high-caliber event that enables talented UAE nationals in all fields to meet directly with recruiters and hiring managers from top employers, which is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 28 to 30, 2010. The company’s participation aims to underline its commitment to the Emiratisation program by opening up its doors to more UAE nations to join its expanding team. Moreover, Al Ansari has recruited over the last few years a total of 100 Emiratis; a figure that represents the ratio legally required by the Ministry of Labour.
As part of its nationwide campaign to provide excellent employment opportunities to UAE nationals, Al Ansari has participated in several rounds across the country’s largest recruitment events with aims to find qualified Emirati candidates to join its staff. The company has concluded its successful participation at the ‘National Careers Exhibition 2010’, a specialised career-focused event for the UAE banking and financial sector, which was held recently in Sharjah, where it has received over 2,500 applicants from local talents.
“We strongly support the Emiratisation program as an important initiative to provide the UAE with a more solid foundation by empowering its citizens to be involved in all industries that shape the country’s economy,” said Mohammad Al Ansari, Managing Director, Al Ansari Exchange. “In line with this, our aim is to get more local talents to join our ever-expanding team, and we will achieve this by providing a career path that is both exciting and rewarding. In addition, we also provide full and regular training, to keep them adept to the latest technologies and best practices in the remittance and foreign exchange business.”
Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre in conjunction with TANMIA, Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP), Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and UAE University, the ‘10th Annual Careers Show 2010 Exhibition’ is designed to expose job seekers to various training and career opportunities. It aims to provide exciting networking possibilities, career leads, information about various companies, and an opportunity to meet employers and apply for job positions and internships. This year’s event is garnering significant interest among employers and jobseekers alike and is expected to set record participants.
“Given the high expectations on the turn out at the event, we are hoping to attract a significant number of applications from Emarati professionals during the event. We are confident that we will be able to offer qualified applicants a thriving working environment, which will provide them with both career and financial fulfilment,” concluded Al Ansari.
