An Egyptian with suspected links to terrorist organizations was arrested and immediately deported by Albanian authorities, police said Wednesday.
They named him as Saber Saliman, 20, and said he was in the pay of Osama Bin Laden, the alleged mastermind and financier of terrorist attacks around the world.
Saliman was arrested Monday at Rinas airport after receiving a tip-off from Egypt, police said.
The US Central Intelligence Agency and Egyptian secret services have provided Albania with a list of people suspected of terrorist activity, said the Gazeta Shqiptare newspaper.
