Alessa Industries establishes a joint venture with the American Huntair Group with an investment of over USD 200 Million

While participating in the International Building and Construction Show – the Big 5 2009 in Dubai, Alessa Industries has revealed a new expansion through establishing a joint venture company with Huntair Group, member of the NORTAK International companies – pioneers in the Air Handing Units Manufacturing and Processing. For this occasion, the company held a press conference with the attendance of the American and Saudi Ambassador.
Engineer Ahmed Saeed Al Omari, CEO of Alessa Industries explained that the new company’s goal is to share the industrial and market experience in addition to increase the manufacturing lines of Alessa Industries combined with innovation and technology.
Engineer Al Omari added that the agreement includes training the Saudi engineers in the fields of manufacturing and design in the United States of America, as well as educating technicians and market specialists at Huntair.
Engineer Al Omari also explained that the company’s direction to invest over USD 200 Million was based on market studies of the supply Vs. demand rates, which clearly conveyed the boosting demand to increase the production of high quality Air Handing Units, especially with the increased public and private projects and increased population rate.
On a separate note, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister Finance and Industry has visited the Alessa Exhibition Stand and met a number of the company’s executive management. The company revealed some of their latest high quality Saudi products that serve their client base in the Middle East region during the Big 5 Exhibition, with over 3,000 participating companies – pioneers in the field of Air Handing Units, Manufacturing and Processing.
Engineer Ahmed Al Omari, CEO of Alessa Industries explained that the company has displayed innovative and developed Air Handing Units that are unique with high standards, where the participation in the exhibition comes under the company’s strategy of continuous presence in local and international fairs, specially that Big 5 2009 is considered to be one of the biggest of its kind in the Middle East and it is the perfect opportunity for engineers, architects, constructors and developers from both public and private sectors, to meet and discuss the latest developments and services in the fields of construction, building and Air Handing Manufacturing and Processing.
Engineer Al Omari ensured that Alessa Industries is considered one of the leading industry groups in KSA and one of the top sellers of home Air Handing products in the Middle East. The company’s market share in the field of Air Handing Manufacturing and Processing reaches to over 28% of KSA market, and it includes 3 major companies that cover Trade, Manufacturing and Construction – that is Hamad Abdullah Alessa and Sons and Alessa Air Handing Co., in addition o Alessa Enterprises and it’s based in Riyadh in addition to its several branches that are spread in the Kingdom.
Alessa CEO also mentioned that the company has recently expanded its investments in the fields of manufacturing and development, and have re-shaped the company’s activities in order to uplift the firm’s productivity and deploy useful resources to launch new companies like Alessa Enterprises.
