Algerian official Mourad Mazar was re-elected on April 19, to head the African Footballers Union for four more years. This organization was established with the aim of 'defending the interests of football players from the African continent, everywhere in the world'. The elections took place in the framework of the FIFPRO assembly (the international union of footballers) which was held in Amsterdam.
Liberte Algerie reports that following these elections, Mazar will quickly move to supplement the constitution of the organization with new work commissions.
