EXA Telecom, the retail telecommunications division of The Alghanim Sons Group, today announced the successful signing of a mobile phone distribution agreement with LG Electronics, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of advanced wireless handsets and accessories. The deal heralds a new era in EXA Telecom’s development towards becoming the premier provider of mobile telephone products and services in Kuwait.

The distribution agreement covers the rights for EXA Telecom to operate both as a wholesaler and retailer of the full range of LG Electronics mobile telephone products and services in this market. Recent offers include the latest stylish mobile phone experience, known as the “Chocolate” phone, and the glamorous “Shine” model, both of which are already enormously popular in international markets.

EXA Telecom will also establish an authorised LG service centre to provide expert and timely after sales service to clients. Kuwait customers will now be able to benefit from locally based services, provided by highly qualified staff rather than having to send their handsets overseas – thereby speeding up the service process significantly.
