Egyptian actor/singer Ali Hajjar and songstress Angham have signed on to Nile Satellite’s music channel for a show called Sihr El Mughani (Magic of the Singer).
According to Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper, the President of Nile Sat, Salma Al Shama’a, said that she was able to persuade the two stars to rotate shows between them adding that the Hajjar and Angham will be “critiquing music and lyrics of old and new songs.”
Shama’a added that the concept of the show “is close in principle to the radio music show ’Ghawas Fi Bahr El Naghm’ (Diver in the Sea of Music), presented by musicians Amar Al Shrei’i for the Egyptian Radio Channel.”
However, she explained that the shows differ in that “the new one will not limit itself to old songs” – Albawaba.com.
