Egyptian director Inam Mohammad has nominated the starring role of her latest series Amal Hayati (Hope of My Life) for Egyptian songstress Angham.
Inam, who achieved international success with her acclaimed series Um Kulthum, chose the songstress after watching her performance in Rasasa Fil Qalb (Bullet in the Heart).
Angham, who has refused five different starring roles, immediately agreed to star in Inam’s production.
The songstress will stand alongside Hassan Husni.
Meanwhile, the renowned director told ‘Al Sharq El Awsat’ daily that she will be presenting a new talent through this series, naming the secret star as ‘Angham the actress.’
The series is set to air during the up-coming month of Ramadan – Albawaba.com.
