Mobile device users continuously face the risk of running out of power.  With the increasing dependence on these devices, either for work or play, the need for power is paramount.  Keeping this in mind, APC has come up with the ‘one stop power solution for all mobile devices’. Targeted at both, the business & home segments, the Mobile Power Pack's (UPB 10) sophisticated design compliments today’s mobile devices including MP3 players, mobile phones, digital cameras and portable gaming systems.

Smaller than a deck of cards, UPB 10 utilizes lithium polymer battery technology to reduce size and weight while providing extended runtimes.  Compatible with a wide range of mobile devices, UPB 10 can generate up to 55 hours of additional music time for an MP3 device such as the iPod® Nano and 8 to 10 hours of additional email and talk time for smartphones, such as a BlackBerry® or Palm® Treo™.  Weighing just over 3 ounces, UPB 10 is a necessity for any mobile user.

The Universal Mobile Battery allows users of mobile devices to have “extra” power – whether it’s to play your tunes and games on a long trip, or to make sure your phone doesn’t fail you when you need it the most.

APC states that currently there is no other product with the same features as the UPB10. Other products fall short on compatibility, usability (power output) and design. APC intends to display UPB 10 in GITEX’06 & plans to distribute it through Techdata, Aptec & Key Information Systems across the region. UPB 10 shall be available in Dubai by the end of November. Other markets shall be covered subsequently.
