A 17-year-old Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank city of Tulkarem while trying to plant a bomb at a roadside, Israeli reports said.
The troops spotted him and opened fire, killing him instantly, Israel Radio reported.
Earlier, the Israeli army destroyed the homes of four Palestinian activists in Jenin. According to Israel Radio, soldiers demolished the homes of the two suicide bombers who carried out their attack last week in northern Israel. A total of 14 people were killed and 65 wounded in that attack.
Palestinian sources reported the Israeli army demolished the home of Islamic Jihad activist Ali Safuri and the home of former Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades activist Abdul Kareem Aweis. Aweis was active in Jenin.

Meanwhile, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat on Monday postponed a legislative session that was to vote on his proposed Cabinet after Israel prevented 13 legislators from traveling to the session, citing "security reasons."
Arafat decided to put off the session, insisting that Israel must allow all 85 members to attend the session, said a Palestinian official. Nabil abu-Rudeineh said that the PA Chairman had decided to put off the vote until Tuesday morning.
Earlier, PA officials told reporters if even one council member does not present the meeting will not take place. (Albawaba.com)
