Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat heads to Cairo on Monday for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on the developing situation in the Middle East, an Egyptian presidential source said Sunday.
Their talks are due to focus on the situation following US President George W. Bush's endorsement of a future Palestinian state, and the state of a cease-fire which has crumbled since announced last month, the source added.
Arafat was also due to meet Arab League chief Amr Mussa while in Cairo, League sources said -- CAIRO (AFP)
