The world’s first Armani hotel, located in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, won the ‘Best Business Hotel,’ and Armani/Amal, the hotel’s in-house Indian restaurant, won the ‘Best Fine Dining Restaurant’ award at the Gulf Connoisseur Awards 2010.

The Armani Hotel Dubai, a celebration of superior aesthetics and world-class project development competencies, was unveiled in April 2010. Designed by Giorgio Armani, the hotel celebrates the ‘Stay with Armani’ philosophy and reflects the pure elegance, simplicity, and sophisticated comfort that define his style.

Mr. Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels & Resorts said: “The Gulf Connoisseur awards are a testament to significant imprint that Armani Hotel Dubai has made since its opening only six months ago. A true global trend-setter in the hospitality industry, Armani Hotel Dubai appeals not only to leisure guests but also to business travellers, as highlighted by the award.”

He added: “The array of culinary options at Armani Hotel Dubai is fast gaining popularity among Dubai residents and visitors. The restaurants assure an exceptional dining experience defined by the highest standards of service excellence and quality.”

The award-winning Armani/Amal, a niche outlet, serves Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist. It offers exotic curries, signature appetizers, and other specialties that are prepared based on time-honoured traditional cooking methods and ingredients.

Armani Hotel Dubai is within walking distance to the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination, The Dubai Mall, and some of the region’s most exclusive leisure and business facilities.
