ATICO Fakhreldin Group’s Ongoing Support of King Hussein Cancer Foundation

ATICO Fakhreldin Group announced the installation of donation boxes for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) in its Arabic fast food chain Kebab Express in City Mall and Swefieh. This initiative came in collaboration with H. R. H. Princess Dina Mired's office.

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit institution that combats cancers in Jordan and the Middle East region. KHCF has a number of children-oriented programs, such as "Back to School" and "Play through Therapy", which respectively aim at providing pediatric cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center with tutoring, while undergoing treatment, and familiarizing children at the Center with the world of information technology.

From her end, ATICO’s Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility Officer (CCSRO), Abeer Fakhriddin, said, “As part of our commitment to our social responsibility and our belief in the need to support charity institutions which help the underprivileged, we have decided to extend our cooperation to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. This partnership manifests itself in the donation boxes we have provided in ATICO’s Arabic fast food chain, Kebab Express, in the hope that this small gesture is one way of giving back to the community some of what it is entitled to.”

This initiative comes as part of the company’s relentless efforts to support charitable organizations and is only one in a long string of similar altruistic campaigns. ATICO Fakhreldin Group has a history of collaborating with the KHCF, as, for the past three years, it has added JOD 1 to customers’ bills in all their outlets. More recently, the company also donated part of its Kebab Express revenues for the month of February to Gaza through the Jordan River Foundation (JRF), enabling the concerned agencies in Gaza to provide essential items for the injured and homeless.

It is worth noting that Kebab Express, an Arabic fast food concept, has branches in City Mall, Amman's latest exclusive mall, and a new, colorful and vibrant branch in Sweifieh.  It offers delicious Lebanese appetizers, healthy sandwiches, grills and desserts carefully selected from Fakhreldin Restaurant's popular items. A new children's combo platter is also now on the menu including a free toy.  Kebab Express is part of ATICO Fakhreldin Group which includes other outlets such as Fakhreldin Restaurant, Ren Chai, Yoshi, Nai, Vinaigrette, Trattoria, the Courtyard, Wild Jordan Café, Bistro One, Amigo and Fakhreldin & Co.
