Atlantis, The Palm is regarded as the culinary destination in Dubai: offering a variety of dining experiences that are as varied, exciting and multi-faceted as the resort itself. This July is no different; Atlantis is inviting all Americans and lovers of American fine wines and cuisines to celebrate the official Independence Day of the United States at Seafire, the modern steakhouse at the resort. On Sunday, 4th July, from 6–11.30pm, couples, groups and families are welcomed to enjoy the American inspired evening with tastes and sounds from the land of Uncle Sam.
Seafire will be providing a carefully constructed American-themed menu to tantalise commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. With this important occasion as inspiration, the chefs at Seafire will be bringing a wealth of tastes from America for guests to enjoy. The evening includes expertly chosen wines from the west coast of the Unites States.
Guests will begin the evening from the sea with Ocean Trout Textures with white asparagus panna cotta, caviar and vichyssoise espuma. The trout will be prepared in 4 different styles, including cured, tartar, poached and ceviche. This will be enjoyed with a Riesling from Chateau St. Michelle, the leading producer of Riesling in the United States. The vineyard was among the first to plant Riesling in Washington State. The journey continues with a grilled US Prime Black Angus striploin, served with smoked onion puree, braised brisket and green beans. The cut has unique flavour with consistent marbling. The steak is paired with Mark West Pinot Noir from Central Coast Sonoma. The wine has enticing aromas of rich cherry pie, raspberry preserves and ripe plums with barrel notes of exotic vanilla, golden molasses and shortbread cookie. Oak aging rounds out the palate and gives the wine its body. Finally, the celebration comes to a close with traditional apple pie, authentic New York cheese cake and marshmallow brownie adorned with pecan pie ice cream, all served with a choice of tea or coffee.
At Atlantis, the chefs believe that all the ingredients used in the resort’s kitchens should be of the highest quality, and beef served in Seafire is no exception. In order to ensure the best experience for guests, the culinary team approached the Australian Agricultural Company to produce a special breed of cattle exclusive for Atlantis, The Palm. Atlantis Beef is bred from carefully selected European and Japanese cattle that are fed exclusively on hay, barley, corn and essential seeds to ensure best quality, exquisite taste and perfect marbling of the beef.
Seafire is a modern New York City-style steakhouse boasting an exceptional butchery, an open theatrical kitchen and a walk-in wine cellar with more than 3,500 bottles. Located in The Avenues at Atlantis, a luxuriously colourful marketplace, that is a haven of superlative dining and world-class shopping. In addition, the extensive menu at Seafire features Wagyu, Black Angus, and Prime American Beef, all prepared to order on a custom wood-burning grill and served with a selection of home-made mustards. Guests can also enjoy casual dining by the bar Monday through Saturday.
