Bahra cables sponsors the Green Engineering Seminar

Under “Green Engineering for a Sustainable Environment “theme, a seminar was held as a mission to maintain a healthy and clean environment among the engineering community from different fields and to motivate them to adopt eco-friendly means to reduce greenhouse emissions and to help reducing the impact of global warming.
The seminar was organized by the Indian Youth Welfare Association (IYWA) and sponsored by Bahra Cables Company, a member of CPC Group of Companies. The seminar discussed developing and producing goods that meet new standards of durability and reliability, and production of consumption processes on closed cycles with zero wastage. In addition, the seminar focused on the principle of global citizens and the need to pressurize for a clean environment.
The seminar that took place in Marriott hotel last week was addressed by Dr. Abdulbasit Salem Sairafi, Deputy Minister for Environment Affairs and Dr. S. U. Rahman, Assistant Director in the Center of Research Excellence in Renewable Energy, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Experts and professors presented papers on different subjects, including global warming and the role of engineering community, global resources, sustainable development and the role of engineering professionals, fuel cells at our doorsteps, and how can fuel cell technology be used. Experts and professors called companies to comply with international green standards as a basic step towards a healthy and clean environment.
Commenting on Bahra Cables sponsorship of the seminar, Eng.
