Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak will meet Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt on Thursday, a statement from his office said.
"Prime Minister Barak will on Thursday travel to Cairo for talks with President Mubarak and Chairman Arafat," the brief statement said, without giving further details.
The three-way summit comes a day after Barak and Arafat are due to meet US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in Paris in a bid to turn the page after six days of bloody Israeli-Palestinian battles.
Mubarak earlier Tuesday invited the two to meet in the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, where they forged an agreement in September last year, but no date was given - JERUSALEM (AFP)
