‘Doha Residents are Sure to Embrace Traditional Mediterranean Café Culture,’ Says General Manager

Doha’s residents can now enjoy the delights of traditional Italian cuisine at Grand Hyatt Doha’s Biscotti café, which seamlessly combines the authentic rustic flavours of Italy with the freshest produce, in a relaxed dining environment.

This exciting addition to Qatar’s culinary scene offers a variety of beverages as well as shakes and smoothies to complement a delectable array of pastries, baked goods and home-made gelato.

“We are confident that Doha’s residents will embrace the Mediterranean café culture of Biscotti,” says Garry Friend, general manager, Grand Hyatt Doha.  “Our modern take on Italian classics is sure to delight, and will be a welcome addition to the city’s gastronomic landscape,” continued Friend.

For a speedy lunch guests can create their own signature sandwich from a wide range of fillings, including chicken mortadella, smoked salmon, mozzarella, smoked eggplant and grilled vegetables.

For the health-conscious, an array of salads is available including Cured Duck Breast on Lamb’s Lettuce with Croutons and Hazelnut Dressing, and feta cheese with Garden Greens, Artichokes and Lemon Dressing.

Also on the menu are oven fresh snacks such as Mediterranean Vegetable Quiche, Wild Mushroom Quiche and Beef and Mushroom Pie.

Homemade pastries include Orange Mascarpone Tart, classic Italian Tiramisu, Truffle Cake and Vanilla Eclair, and Italian gelatos.

In addition to being a café, Biscotti is also a boutique retail shop showcasing premium Italian items such as chocolates, jams, pasta sauces and olive oils.
