Children in Britain are due to walk hand-in-hand to express their solidarity with the plight of Palestinian children during a march, which will be held in London this Saturday.
The march aims at stressing the disproportionate number of innocent Palestinian children victims. It is estimated that 212 children have been killed by Israeli troops since the beginning of the latest Palestinian Intifada.
The rally’s organizers, namely, the Justice for Palestine Committee, is arranging for children to write protest letters to British Prime Minister Tony Blair, whose government is still approving arms sales to Israel, IRNA reported.
The march follows a national rally for Palestine, which took place in London last weekend, attended by more than 50,000 people, including Parliament members, trade unionists, academics, peace activists and Muslim groups.
A series of lectures and a video presentation on 'Palestine Truth Uncovered' will also be held in West London this Saturday. Speakers include Scottish Nationalist member of the Scottish Parliament, Lloyd Quinan. (Albawaba.com)
