A British envoy is due to arrive in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on Sunday in a fresh bid to explore prospects of pressing ahead with conciliation efforts between the government and southern rebels, an official source told KUNA news agency on Saturday.
The source said the envoy would hold talks with officials to study the possibility of working out a draft for a final settlement to the protracted strife. In this context, he will meet with presidential advisers and opposition leaders, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
