British Royal couple, the Earl of Wessex Prince Edward, and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, Sophie Rhys-Jones, arrived on Saturday in Manama on a three-day visit, reported the Bahrain Tribune.
The couple will visit the Batelco Head Office in Hamala, the Bahrain Training Institute, St. Christopher School, the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and Al Fateh Mosque, said the Tribune.
"The visit of the Royal couple is reflective of the close ties between Bahrain and the UK," a statement said.
It is the first visit of the Royal couple to a Middle East country, said the paper, adding that the couple will leave for Doha on Tuesday - Albawaba.com
