In celebration of Egypt hosting the FIFA U-20 2009, Visa, the exclusive FIFA

partner for financial services, has held a penalty kick-off tournament at the Al Ahly club during Ramadan. The tournament saw the participation of 16 teams playing the world’s most popular sport, while supporting the world’s most recognized payment brand. All participating teams were comprised of Egyptian banks, athletes, the media and members of the club. The teams battled it out for the ultimate prize of Go Football Experience tickets, which allow its holders to get a backstage experience of the games. 
The participants were extremely delighted when they found out that Visa had organized for the FIFA U-20 trophy to make a surprise appearance during the tournament. Participants were given the chance for an once-in-a-lifetime photo op with the trophy.
Commentating on the tournament was former renowned footballer Ahmed Shoubeir, while former international referee, Gamal Alghandor refereed the tournament. Also, making a surprise appearance were superstar Al Ahly players and members of the Egyptian National Football Team, Mohamed Abu Treka and Emad Metab who came to watch the matches and were welcomed by Visa General Manager of North and West Africa, Tarek Elhousseiny.
