Chefs of Rivington Grill to Share Kitchen Secrets and Recipes at Taste of Dubai 2010

Rivington Grill, the first restaurant of Caprice Holdings to open in Dubai, today announced its Head Chef Duncan Cruickshanks and Head Pastry Chef Liz Stevenson will present some of Rivington Grill’s finest classic dishes at Taste of Dubai 2010, the premier food and beverage festival in the Middle East.

To be held from 17-20 March at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and Park, Taste of Dubai 2010 will host 18 of Dubai’s top restaurants, including some of the newest to open in the city.

Rivington Grill will present the Classic Prawn Cocktail for starters, Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas as main course, and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert in this year’s edition of Taste of Dubai. On 19 and 20 March, Duncan Cruickshanks will share his kitchen secrets with the audience from 3:45pm to 4:15pm at the ‘Chefs’ Demonstration’. He will also participate in the ‘Chefs’ Challenge’ for the Best of British category on 19 March from 1:15pm – 2:00pm.

Meanwhile, Liz Stevenson is scheduled to interact with the crowds at the cooking school on 19 March from 2:30pm - 3:00pm and on 20 March from 2:30pm – 3:00pm with ‘Banoffee Pudding’. Also on 20 March, Liz will take part in the ‘Chefs’ Demonstration’ from 12:30pm - 1:00pm.

Designed to inspire and stimulate the visitors, Taste of Dubai 2010 will feature an exciting range of gastronomic activities in a fun environment. Its spectrum of offerings will include a cookery school where chefs will personally tutor audiences. Interested visitors can also learn to put together a new dish or perfect a culinary technique at a mini group cooking station, all under the watchful eye of a professional chef.
