President Jacques Chirac will be in the crowd tonight at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels when France play Portugal in the semifinals of Euro 2000, the Elysee Palace said.
Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, who attended the 2-1 quarterfinals win over Spain in Bruges, will not be present, however.
Chirac missed the quarterfinals match as he was on an official visit to Germany, but he telephoned skipper Didier Deschamops to offer his congratulations - (AFP)
