ALBAWABA - The Colorado Supreme Court took America by surprise after announcing a historically changing decision that Donald Trump is ineligible to become the President of the United States again on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2023.
According to The Guardian, The decision came after Colorado removed Trump from the state's primary presidential elections amid insurrection claims against the 45th US President on Jan. 6, 2021.
This marks the first time a presidential candidate has been unable to run for office because of a rare ban that bars individuals with insurrectionist claims to run in the elections.

The Colorado Supreme Court stated in a ruling that “A majority of the court holds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” which is mostly run by Democratic governors as they wrote the ruling.
After that, Donald Trump later appealed to the US Supreme Court in a recent campaign and said, “We have full confidence that the US Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits,” through his campaign spokesmen Steven Cheung.
Rachel Maddow Donald Trump could be disqualified from elections in general
American television presenter Rachel Maddow stated her opinion on Trump getting barred from Colorado elections and stated:
“If the Supreme Court were to affirm this ruling, he could be disqualified not just in Colorado but in multiple states. So, the stakes could not be higher.”
This decision got America torn as anti-Trump supporters are delighted with the news but on the other hand, many individuals feel like this decision is "morally wrong" because it's an "exhibit A of the Democrats destroying democracy to keep Trump from what they say would be destroying democracy."
