Leading provider of creative outdoor solutions, Concept Media is now the sole media concessionaire for Dubai Municipality bus advertising having recently acquired the tender for the buses that were previously with Emirates Neon.

As per the contract, Concept Media has been allotted the entire fleet of Dubai Municipality buses that ply the roads of Dubai daily. Covering an estimated 15,550km165,000 km,, making 1,380 stops along 62 routes everyday, buses secure maximum brand exposure, making them reach areas where traditional outdoor advertising is zoned out.

On winning the contract, Aldrin Fernandes, CEO, Concept Group, said, “Earlier bus advertising accounted for a small portion of advertising budgets, but now it is increasingly commanding a larger share. This advertising medium is an outstanding combination of reach and recognition. As a result companies across various industry sectors are coming to recognise this as a vibrant and highly effective medium.”

Concept Media received their first tender in 2004 as one of the two agencies for bus advertising. While this medium of advertising has been around for some time in the emirates, Concept Media has been largely responsible for initiating a creative dimension and expanding this medium to various new industry sectors, such as entertainment, FMCG, banking and many others.

Concept Media’s diverse clientele includes brand leaders such as Cellucom [Nokia], Lipton and Axe (Unilever), Emirates Islamic Bank, 7Days, AME Info, Neutrogena, Al Bayan, Rani, Marmum Dairies, G-Hanz, University of Wollongong and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). Some of the popular events and promotional campaigns that have used bus advertising include Postcard Millionaire, Philips Jazz Festival, World Gold Council DSF promotion and movies including Spiderman, Anaconda, Star Wars and Kingdom of Heaven.

Concept Media offers highly creative yet cost-effective options in bus advertising such as full wraps, which extend the visual impact of branding as it covers the entire bus, and mega rears, which cover the entire back of a bus. Concept Media also introduced new options of mega street-liners and mega sides, which cover entire sides of the bus, including windows.
