WHAT

The first “Conference on Human Remains from Ancient Egypt: Possibilities, Problems and Priorities,” organized by the American University in Cairo, the American Research Center in Egypt and Institute for Bioarchaeology.


WHO

Speakers include Christine Marshall, physical anthropologist, The Australian Center for Egyptology; Lisa Sabbahy, assistant professor of Egyptology at AUC; Andreas Nerlich, Institute of Pathology, Academic Teaching Hospital, Munich, Germany; Jerome Cybulski, curator of physical anthropology, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Quebec; Robert Yohe, Department of Sociology/ Anthropology, California State University; and Scott Haddow, bioarchaeologist, Institute of Archaeology, University College London.
