A Yemeni man convicted of murdering a woman was executed in front of a crowd that included the victim's family, a prosecution statement was quoted by the BBC.online Sunday.
Ali Mutahar Ali was executed by firing squad Saturday in the capital Sanaa, the statement said.
He was convicted of the May 1992 murder of Samira Ali Mohammed, according to the statement. It gave no further details, added BBC.
