CRDF holds Inaugural Technology Entrepreneurship Development Workshop in Kuwait

CRDF is organizing a technology entrepreneurship development workshop at
the Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR) in Safat, Kuwait on
Dec. 6-10, 2009. The workshop will provide participants with an overview
and core knowledge of different topics within the scope of technology
entrepreneurship supplemented with current industry trends.

 

According to CRDF President and CEO Cathy Campbell, the workshop is the
first major event that CRDF has undertaken in Kuwait and is the result
of a new partnership between CRDF and KISR.

 

"We are very pleased with KISR's strong interest in promoting technology
entrepreneurship ," says Campbell. "CRDF has many years of experience in
providing innovation training, events and competitions, and we are
excited about the opportunity to work with our partners at KISR to
contribute to entrepreneurial growth in Kuwait."

 

Through presentations and interactive sessions, international experts
will share best practices in building innovation systems and
entrepreneurship; provide decision-making guidance on improving
innovation capacity in research institutes; educate participants on
specific topics in strategic innovation and entrepreneurship, and
illustrate best case studies and real life examples. Experts will host
panels on such topics as enhancing entrepreneurial culture and creative
thinking, fostering innovation in Kuwait, technology incubation
strategies and presenting ideas.
