Cylingas, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) that specializes in providing infrastructure facilities to the oil & gas industry such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, gas cylinders, and silos, has achieved an ISO 9001:2008 certification for upholding the highest quality standards across its breadth of services.

Bureau Veritas Certification awarded Cylingas the prestigious certification for the ‘design, manufacturing, fabrication, supply and maintenance of horizontal and vertical storage tanks, pressure & process vessels, pipe line, gas cylinders and allied products for oil, gas, chemical industries and utility services.’

Jamal Al -Wahedi, General Manager, Cylingas, received the ISO 9001:2008 certification from Farhan Ahmed of Bureau Veritas.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive said, “The ISO9001:2008 certification from Bureau Veritas reiterates the highest standards of quality we uphold across all our operations. The achievement is a testament to the commitment, perseverance and excellent teamwork of our employees, and marks the assured standards of quality we offer to our customers.”

Jamal Al -Wahedi added: “The scope of work of Cylingas covers areas that demand fool-proof security and safety, and it is imperative that the highest quality parameters are adhered to in all aspects of our operation. This certification is a clear indication of our commitment to quality and customer service excellence.”

Cylingas has another coveted certification -- the U-stamp from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the high standards of its operations.

Cylingas recorded impressive credentials in 2009 as it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENOC and took up the construction of Retail Filling Stations as a new business line.

Cylingas also played a key role in setting up the ENOC Lubricants and Grease Manufacturing Plant in Fujairah.  It also completed the delivery of four crude-oil, double-deck and floating-roof storage tanks in knock-down condition, in addition to winning contracts for delivery of 17 pressure vessels for Iraq in 2010.

The company is further involved in the design, engineering and fabrication of two-phase high pressure separators for Dragon Oil for their offshore field operations in Caspian Sea in addition to several prestigious orders in the UAE and the region.
