Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides arrived Monday in Egypt for a six-day private visit for talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Hosni Mubarak, reported Iran’s news agency (IRNA) on Tuesday.
Clerides’s visit is the first by a Cyprus president to Cairo in two decades, said the agency.
It added that the two leaders will also hold talks on the Middle East peace and Israel’s raids in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories – Albawaba.com
