Daesh has kidnapped at least 220 Assyrians from Christian villages near Hasaka, in northeastern Syria, Reuters reports.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the victims were kidnapped during a three day offensive near Hasaka, in which Daesh reclaimed 10 villages inhabited by the Assyrian Christians.
Just yesterday it was reported Kurdish militias with support from airstrikes by the US-led coalition killed at least 132 Daesh militants since Saturday in Hasaka.
Earlier this month Daesh executed 20 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya.
