“Thailand is a key trade and economic partner for the UAE in general and Dubai in particular and one of the countries, which achieved a great boom in the industrial sector and being a member of ASIAN. It is important to recognize Thai customs experience and it is a good step to maintain further cooperation in areas of common interest,” he added.
From their part, Thai delegation lauded Dubai Customs experience and practice that based on adopting best international processing systems and electronic solutions practices.
“We asked for this visit in order to benefit from such internationally favored experience and wished to recognize the facilitations offered by Dubai Customs to the clients and the applicable programmes thereof including e-clearance programmes, clients’ accreditation programme, customers complaints and financial programmes. Since we have a performance excellence programme as well, it was imperative to learn about Dubai Customs experience in this area,” said Mr. Utid.
