Dow Oil & Gas, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, will showcase advanced gas treatment solutions at the Sour Oil & Gas Advanced Technology (SOGAT) 2010 International Exhibition. The exhibition will take place from 28 March to 1 April in Abu Dhabi.

Dow Oil & Gas will be showcasing its robust offering of degradation-resistant specialty amines, including the well-known UCARSOL™ solvent line. Dow Oil & Gas combines these advanced products with 65 years of technical experience in amines within the AMINE MANAGEMENTSM program, where the technical service team uses advanced simulation techniques to develop tailored solutions to optimize the performance at a specific amine unit.

Dow Oil & Gas will be sponsoring SOGAT, as well as its 4th International CO2 Forum, which takes place at SOGAT on 1 April. Chuck Martin, Strategic Marketing Manager for Gas Processing & Gas Transmission, will present a technical paper on Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) Oxidation in Flue Gas CO2 Capture, which is a case study demonstrating Dow Oil & Gas’ track record of success in meeting lower CO2 specification needs utilizing specialty amines solutions.

“Dow Oil & Gas provides a range of innovative exploration, production, refining, gas processing, and fuel transport solutions and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise at this prestigious forum,” said Janet Giesselman, General Manager, Dow Oil & Gas. “We believe that our participation at SOGAT 2010 is an ideal forum for us to showcase our robust portfolio of oil and gas processing and treatment technologies and solutions.”
