Global marine terminal operator DP World will sponsor the upcoming Al Amal Wedding for couples with special needs, the UAE’s biggest mass wedding..
An initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the wedding will be held on January 21, 2009 to coincide with the Third Anniversary of Sheikh Mohammed’s Accession as Dubai’s Ruler.

Organised by Dubai Club for Special Sports, the Arab Family Organisation and Iqd Al Yasmen, the Al Amal Wedding is a unique event in the region. It promotes social awareness about the need to provide equal opportunities for all and greater support to people with special needs. Over 100 couples with special needs are expected to take part in the wedding.
