Dubai Quality Group (DQG) declared today the extending of its strategic partnership with Wall Street Exchange Center (WSEC) - a subsidiary of Emirates Post Holding - to become an investor partner at the group for the second year successively. The partnership ceremony took place at the Center’s headquarters as it aims to promote standards of quality in exchange and financial remittances sector, which is considered a major focus in the growth of the national economy.
The partnership allows WSEC to take advantage of multiple and specialized services offered by DQG in the field of value-added quality, which is implemented according to the needs of the group's members.
Mr. Abdulqader Obaid Ali, Honorary Board Member of DQG, said: "Extending this partnership reflects DQG’s keen to provide the necessary support in the development of quality of services provided in the financial sector, especially as the rates of transfer of funds from the UAE to the world reached up to more than AED 37 billion, which makes the UAE rank second in the field of financial remittances among the GCC countries".
Mr. Ali indicated that the group will support WSEC in organizing seminars, training courses and benchmarking programs to disseminate best practices, as well as allowing the staff of the Center to participate in the sub-groups’ activities in order to share the latest developments, experiences and information with experts and specialists from the group".
For his part, H.E. Abdullah Bin Ghalib, chief executive of WSEC, said: "This partnership reflects our belief in the effectiveness of activities and services offered by DQG, which will support quality management system in order to achieve the desired excellence for the Center".
He added: "The remarkable development in the global transferring of funds to and from the country puts us in the forefront and requires quality of services, speed and confidentiality in the process of transferring".
