On behalf of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al Sulaiman, Deputy Minister for Industrial Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has yesterday (Shawwal 29, 1430 / October 18, 2009) inaugurated "Saudi PPPP 2009" at the newly completed Riyadh International Exhibition Centre before a powerful assembly of Saudi Government officials and key decision-makers from leading business organisations in the Middle East and around the world. Saudi PPPP 2009 runs from Shawwal 29 to Zul Al-Qi’dah 2, 1430 / October 18 to 21, 2009, gathering over 500 international and local companies.
Saudi PPPP 2009 is recognised as the premier business-to-business platform for trade buyers, industry professionals, international distributors and other industry stakeholders in the region's fast-growing petrochemicals, printing, packaging and plastic industries. The mega trade event integrates four exhibitions under one roof: "Saudi Petrochem 2009 – The 4th International Exhibition for Chemicals and Chemical Technology Industry"; "Saudi Plas 2009 – The 9th International Plastics Technology Show"; "Saudi Pack 2009 – The 9th International Packing Machinery and Materials Show"; and "Saudi Print 2009 – The 9th International Pre-press and Printing Technology Exhibition".

Up to 35 per cent of all products to be showcased at Saudi PPPP 2009 are manufactured in Saudi Arabia.
