Annual "Swiss - Emirati Forum" Launched
The Nov. 7th meeting in Abu Dhabi established the "Emirati - Swiss Friendship Platform", with Honorary Co-Chairmen HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Executive Council Member, and HE Pascal Couchepin, Former Swiss President.
A Resolution signed at this occasion led to the establishment of an annual "Swiss-Emirati Forum", with the first to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland in June 2011. This was followed by two days of high-level workshops, with decision-makers from business, politics, science, research, health care, arts, sports and higher education.

"SwissINSO's inclusion in the Platform is further recognition of our significant contribution to renewable energies and the promotion of sustainable development", said CEO Dr Yves Ducommun. "Our 100% solar-powered solutions for producing pure and desalinated water, and for cooling/heating of buildings, represent major breakthroughs. They are particularly well-adapted to the needs of the UAE. In these important markets, the Platform will provide SwissINSO with visibility that very few companies enjoy", he added.
