DSTi makes key appointment in the Middle East
DST International (DSTi), a leading provider of business solutions and services to the financial services sector, has announced the appointment of Nash Subedar as Sales Director for the Middle East and North Africa. Mr Subedar has worked for DSTi for over ten years and was previously Business Development Manager for the Middle East based in London. He has relocated to DSTi’s newly opened Dubai office to take up the role.
DSTi has experienced significant business growth in the Middle East and has welcomed several new clients in recent years. DSTi has been serving the Middle East region for over 15 years out of London and opened an office in Dubai in December 2008 in order to provide more localised, specialist support to its clients.
Speaking about his appointment, Nash Subedar commented, “I am very excited to be taking up this role and am looking forward to helping my clients through what is currently a challenging and fast moving environment. The prevailing market conditions present a good opportunity for asset managers and financial institutions to scale up on skills and tools to ensure they are prepared for when the markets turnaround. Reaching more customers and providing a consistency in service through the efficient execution of investment strategies and technologies will distinguish financial institutions in a competitive market.”
Tony Armour, DSTi Global Sales Director, said, “Having a local presence is a sign of commitment and important for any organisation wishing to grow their business in the region. Our regional clients expect to do business with local service providers and DSTi is committed to ensuring we provide easy access to our resources consistently and reliably. Through the opening of a dedicated office in Dubai, and the appointment of Nash Subedar, DSTi has demonstrated that it is dedicated to ensuring a local presence for the long term. Nash has worked for us in the region over many years to deliver specialist expertise and local knowledge and I am delighted to confirm his appointment to this key role.”
