DTCM organizes Iftar Program for 2800 in Sanapour Tonight

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing “DTCM” organizing committee of the 9th Ramadan Forum announced the complete procedures for the fasting Iftar program to be held in the laborers accommodation in Sanapour, Al Qusais.

 

Mohammed Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Ramadan Forum, emphasized that the tents are fully equipped to fit more than 2800 people during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

With regards to the fasting Iftar program, Al Hashemi explained that the tent opens its doors before maghreb prayers for thousand laborers to have their Iftar meal in addition to a religious lecture in foreign languages before Iftar and after maghreb prayers. The laborers will have a light meal consisting of dates, juices, fruits and water followed by religious and cultural competitions of five questions addressed to audience and distribution of awards then the main meal for 30 days.

 

Al Hashemi emphasized that the forum is very keen on raising the awareness and interests in religious and humanitarians’ sides by attracting workers for Iftar.

 

This year’s forum was keen to develop the events and offer many services that would assure its role in increasing tourism during the holy month, thanks to its ability to attract many visitors from neighboring countries to participate and enjoy the atmosphere of Ramadan and multiple speakers. The Iftar program which is sponsored by Al Nabooda Group attracts broad spectrum of laborers in Dubai and the societal goal of the forum encourages leading scholars and preachers to deliver their lectures in Al Twar area.

 

It is worth mentioning to know that the forum is sponsored by Saeed and Mohammed Al Nabooda Group, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “DEWA”, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai Islamic Bank, Bait Al Khair Association, Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai Customs, Tamani Hotels and Resorts, Maydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Resort and Spa and 3 NiX.
