Full electric power has been now been installed to all villas and buildings located in the Victory Heights golfing residential development, which lies at the heart of Dubai Sports City, the developers confirmed today.
To date 385 villas have been handed over to homeowners, out of a total of 961-units, which are part of the first-phase of the Victory Heights project – a AED2.5bn joint venture between Dubai Sports City and the Bahraini investment bank Arcapita.
Already this year, handover has been completed in two of the seven villages that make-up the luxury villa community, with new residents moving in every day to homes that boast stunning views of the award-winning The Els Club golf course.
“All homes and buildings in Victory Heights are now fully connected to Dubai’s main electricity supply. We have been working very hard with DEWA to ensure that connection and supply are in place and 100 percent efficient for all our current and future residents,” said Yasser Al Raee General Manager at Victory Heights.
Victory Heights surrounds the18-hole The Els Club golf course, designed by World Champion golfer Ernie Els, and is within walking distance of The Butch Harmon School of Golf, where both beginners and seasoned players can work on their game.
Just five minutes drive away is the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where national and international cricket and football matches are played, while five Sporting Academies offering world-class coaching to children of all ages in football, hockey, rugby, swimming, and cricket are due to open in early 2010.
Villas in the development are built in three different styles; authentic Spanish Andalusian, bold Mediterranean, and classic European styles, and at current market rate cost between AED800 and AED1,300 per square foot to buy.
