Dubai’s Victory Heights Hosts Community Event to Celebrate 400th Villa Handover

Developers of Victory Heights, which lies within the heart of Dubai Sports City, handed over the community’s 400th villa last week at a community event where residents joined staff to celebrate the delivery of this important milestone.
Keys to the 400th villa were handed over to new homeowner Mohsen Manialawy by Talal Ahmad Chihabi, Head of Sales and Market at Victory Heights, which is a AED2.5bn golfing residential project jointly backed by the Bahraini investment bank Arcapita and Dubai Sports City.
“Handing over the keys to our 400th villa is an important milestone in the full completion of the 961-units that make up Victory Heights, and shows that we are moving ahead with delivery of our luxury homes, despite last year’s economic downturn. We are proud of this unique project, and pledge to continue to deliver high quality homes and beautifully landscaped green spaces for all our residents to enjoy,” said Chihabi.
Victory Height’s location around award-winning The Els Club golf course and close proximity to the sporting facilities of Dubai Sports City has proved a major draw for homebuyers, including 400th villa owner Manialawy, who said it was one of the main reasons his family decided to buy a home in the development.
“The lifestyle offered by Victory Heights was definitely the main draw for us when deciding to buy in the community. My wife, two boys and I play a lot of sport already and we were attracted by the fact that the sporting facilities of Dubai Sports City are just there, on our doorstep. I do not play golf, but seeing as the course is now so close to home I will definitely give it a go,” Manialawy said.
Hundreds of residents took part in the community event which kicked off with a parade of stilt-walkers and jugglers around the development, ending with the 400th villa key handover ceremony. Guests congregated in one of the community’s parks for an early evening BBQ, accompanied by musical entertainment and a children’s inflatable play area.
Many of the Victory Heights villas boast stunning views of the award-winning The Els Club golf course that offers a green and peaceful ambience to the community. Both The Els Club and The Butch Harmon School of Golf are within walking distance of the villa community, offering beginners and seasoned players the chance to practice their game.
Just five minutes drive away is the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where international cricket and national football matches are played, and five Sporting Academies which offer world-class coaching to children of all ages in football, hockey, rugby, swimming, and cricket, which are due to open this year.
Villas in the development are built in three different styles; authentic Spanish Andalusian, bold Mediterranean, and classic European styles, and cost between AED800 and AED1,300 per square foot to buy.
