Dubai is to be the hub for a new luxury ferryboat service operating between pickup points in Iran and the Gulf cities, Khaleej Times reported Monday.
The ferry service is a joint venture between Tavous Beheshti Kish Co. (TBK) of Iran and Al Rais Travel and Shipping Agencies of the UAE.
TBK will acquire four more of the Norwegian built boats at a total investment of $50 million.
M.J. Tehrani, General Manager of Al Rais Travel was quoted by the paper as saying that starting from January 20th three will be three Dubai-Kish - Dubai sailings and two Dubai-Bandar lengeh-Dubai sailings per week -- Albawaba.com
