A magical evening of the finest in Western classical music brought by the world-famous Stradivari Society, thrilled patrons and enthusiasts at a gathering held under the patronage of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

The musical evening for cultural invitees was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Mohammed Ali Al Hashimi. It showcased the finest talent in the world of music and art including world-acknowledged musicians, music lovers and patrons.

“You can imagine the exclusiveness of the event and its importance on the global classical music calendar as this was the first time that such a collection has been brought to the GCC region,” pointed out Dr. Salah Al Qassim, Advisor to the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and a known patron of music and the arts.

The musical gala included a highly applauded musical recital by Maestro Eduard Wulfson, President of the European Division of the Stradivari Society. He was accompanied by Mr. Vadim Agreev, soloist pianist for the Russian State Opera, who performed short classical pieces on the historic instruments that date back more than 300 years.

“It was a truly unique experience and for that we must thank both the Authority and Mr. and Mrs. Mohammed Ali Al Hashimi, for bringing globally-renowned artists of the highest caliber such as Maestro Wulfson and Mr. Vadim from the world-famous Stradivari Society,” said Mr. Mishaal Gergawi, Projects & Events Manager in the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
