The second Gulf Euro Summit being jointly organized by Emirates International Forum and the European Finance Convention will be held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 8th and 9th, Khaleej Times reported Saturday.
Suliman Hamid Al Mazroui, Coordinator General of Emirates International Forum was reported by the daily at a Press conference as saying that the summit will host a number of significant speakers both from the Gulf and European countries.
The main objective of the summit is to strengthen commerce, trade and highlight new opportunities for a long-term economic bilateral relationship between the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the European Union, Al Mazroui said.
According to euroconvention.com, “this Summit will focus on identifying new opportunities for strengthening economic co-operation between the EU and AGCC. As delegates debate, the two will achieve greater understanding of one another's aims and hopefully reach upon a framework for synergizing mutual progress.” –(Several Sources)
