I take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners of this prestigious award which is now a well-recognised project in the region. The printing industry here has developed in a big way and the Award is the best form of recognition for the talent in the Arab world.”

Ahmad Bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Chairman of Printing and Publishing Group, praised both nominees and winners saying: “The industry has grown by leaps and bounds in terms of both business volumes and capabilities, and this is a tribute to your dedication and passion for success as well as your commitment to innovate.”

According to Al Shaikh, this year’s edition of the Dubai International Print Award is the most competitive. “Not only did we have more entries this year, but we received very interesting and innovative nominations, which reflect how the industry has progressed in this part of the world.”

The Dubai International Print Award was established in 2006 to serve as a benchmark of quality and excellence for the UAE’s printing and publishing industry, covering various aspects of the business such as management efficiency and innovation, and has since expanded its coverage to other countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan and India, among others.

“I would like to thank all the participating members and sponsors for their time and cooperation for putting together this year’s award”, said Tarek Jawharji, Vice-Chairman of Printing and Publishing Group. “Although given the challenging economic condition we have witnessed a great amount of enthusiasm from all our nominees across the region. Choosing 23 final winners from a lot of 850 entries was indeed a challenging task for our jury and I would like to extend my gratitude to them as well.”
