Dubai's sixth and biggest Internet Cafe opened yesterday on al Raqqah St. and is expected to draw 1,000 visitors a day.
The new Dh0.5 million cafe includes 28 PCs. Its owner plans to raise this number to 70, which would make it the Middle East's largest Internet cafe, al Ittihad daily reports. Currently, the biggest regional Internet Cafe is located in Jordan - Polo, which has 50 PCs. The owner expects to draw 1,000 visitors per day. The Cafe will charge Dh15 per hour. (Dh3.67=$1).
Meanwhile, Abd a Rahman al Matyou'i, Dubai industry and commerce chamber head, confirmed that there are plans to issue commercial registration permits and certificate of origin via the Internet.
